A decent sized crochet car seat blanket, crocheted in pure white and a soft dove grey, this blanket is constructed from individual squares made in a traditional granny square style…with a twist. These squares have hearts at the center of them, the hearts are crocheted right into the blanket, not sewn on afterwards.
There are 9 squares with grey hearts in the middle and 16 squares with white hearts at the center.
The squares are all edged in soft grey before being crocheted together using the same grey yarn, and the whole blanket is then edged in a solid white border.
There is a space left deliberately where two squares have not been joined and this is so the buckle of the baby carrier or car seat can fit through allowing the blanket to lie more comfortably on the child, not all bunched up so the belts can be fastened.
This blanket is 25.5″/63.5cm square and is fully machine washable on a 40 degree wool/delicate cycle.
