This cushion cover has been made using the traditional and retro crochet pattern called a granny square for one side in stripes of red, white and blue.
The other side of the cushion cover is made from a solid crochet square also know as a nana square, this too has stripes of red, white and blue in a smaller square formation before being continued to size in blue alone.
This cover measures just over 15″ and will comfortably take a 16″ cushion pad for a plumper look.
The yarns used in this crochet cover are 100% acrylic for its ease of care and durability but they have a matching coloured metallic thread woven through to add a touch of sparkle and glamour.
The sides have been crocheted together to create a strong seam around 3 edges and the 4th edge has a button fastening so that the cover can be removed for washing. Although this cover is fully machine washable it should be washed on a cool 30 degree delicate/wool cycle and allowed to air dry.

A lightweight blanket for baby, perfect for warmer months due to the airy, open patterned motifs, the pattern for which is from a retro 1970′s booklet.
Each square motif has a central square of filet crochet that is then turned on its point to make a diamond, crochet shells are then added on the sides to become the corner points for the new square which is then worked in rounds of sky blue.
This blanket is is made from 36 individual squares that have been sewn together and then a border crocheted around the entire blanket before being finished off with a corded effect edge as a further detail and texture.
Blanket measures 31″/79cm each side.
The blanket has been handmade and crocheted using baby soft acrylic yarn, which not only reduces the risks of wool allergies but it is easy to care for as it is both durable and fully machine washable (on a delicate cycle).
