Perfect for Spring and Summer weddings or those late but still light evenings when the temperature drops slightly, this light, airy and delicate crochet wrap is perfect for draping around your shoulders.
Made from a wonderful blended yarn of mohair, wool and acrylic with a beautiful metallic thread woven through it, this wrap/stole has been crocheted in an open lacy pattern of ripples or chevrons.
The colour changes have been dyed into the yarn to create the wonderful shading that you see, great care was taken when joining in a new ball of yarn that the colour changes matched and each end of the wrap/stole finishes on the same shade.
This crochet wrap measures 78″/198cm in length and is 14″/72cm wide.
If you like this item but would prefer it in another colour then the matching yarn I have available is a white, grey and smokey grey shade and a white, pink and purple shade.
The Spot Hexagon Baby Blanket is a brand new design from Loves a good yarn.
The idea and pattern for this blanket grew from the colours of yarn that were used to create it so it is totally new and a Loves a good yarn original.
The pattern is created from stripes of hexagons with an open wheel effect in the centre, each stripe is either white or in colour, the colour stripes then have alternating colour spots at their centres. Half spot hexagons were then created to straighten off the edges ready for the edging, again done in alternating stripes of colour.
This makes this crochet blanket a visually striking piece whilst still keeping baby warm and snug.
This baby blanket is neat and compact, prefect for prams and cribs, as it measures 27″/69cm by 31.5″/80cm.
Made from soft acrylic baby yarn so it is beautifully soft yet durable whilst at the same time being easy to care for as it is fully machine washable on a 40 degree delicate/wool cycle.

How cute are these? Perfect for keeping baby’s feet snug and warm at any time of the year.
Crocheted in the round there are no seams to upset baby’s comfort (which as any parent can tell you is one of the most important things!)
These boots come slightly higher up the leg than normal baby booties for added comfort, warmth and stay-on-ability.
There is a single button fastening allowing for easy putting on.
Sized for 0-6 month old babies there should be a fair amount of wear out of these boots.
Made from 100% acrylic yarn for both comfort and ease of care, these boots are fully machine washable on a 40 degree wool/delicate cycle.

Looking for a new scarf?
Then this might be the style for you, this scarf is not too long, it is long enough to wrap around your neck at least once and still have a couple of long tails to tuck inside your coat.
It is also long enough for that loop through style when folded in half.
This scarf is made from 16 individually crocheted motifs, the centre of each has the traditional granny square stitch before changing to a more solid border designed as a change to the more commonly known Granny Square.
Each motif is then sewn invisibly to the next for a secure join and then the scarf is finished off with a 2 row border all around the outside.
This scarf measures 73″/185.5cm in length and 4.5″/11.5cm in width.
Made from 100% acrylic yarn for 2 reasons, its durability and its ease of care as this scarf is fully machine washable on a 30 degree delicate/wool wash.
If you like this item but would prefer a colour combination that is not shown then please do not hesitate to get in touch as I can make any item to order.
What type of scarf do you prefer?
If it is a long scarf, the longer better, then the Granny Stripe may be for you.

Because it is so long the scarf can be worn in a number of ways, the folded keyhole style, wrapped around and then knotted or just loosely wrapped around a couple of times, the choice is entirely yours.
This handmade scarf is very warm as it has been crocheted from gorgeously soft acrylic yarn that is both durable as well as easy to care for, this scarf can be machine washed on a 30 degree delicate/wool cycle.

What kind of scarf person are you?
Do you prefer the smaller, neater type of scarf? If so then the Mossburn Circular Crochet Scarf is for you.
The Mossburn Circular scarf has been designed and hand crocheted by Loves a good yarn. It is small circular scarf that will easily slip over your head but is just enough to fit in the neck of your coat and keep out any drafts without being too bulky.
The fabric of this scarf has a lacy open flexible nature, it is not too lacy so it will still be warm yet the fluidity of the fabric means it will not feel tight and uncomfortable around your neck. Each end has then been finished off with a corded effect stitch to complete the design of the piece
Made from wonderfully soft acrylic yarn it will be both warm and durable as well as easy to care for as it is fully machine washable on a 40 degree delicate/wool cycle.
The Mossburn Circular scarf measures 27″/68.5cm around and is 8″/21cm deep.

Here is today’s square, Lacy Diamond Square.
Quite an effective looking square, could use any number possible colour combinations in this one, I went with shades of purple.
This is another US pattern so US terminology is used throughout, here are the instructions for Lacy Diamond.
I worked as per pattern then repeated Round 8 again before doing Round 9, this made it slightly larger than 6″ – oops!
Today’s square, the V-Star square is an easy and effective square to crochet. I used 3 colours as in the pattern but it would look light and lacy in a one colour or very vibrant in multi colours.
The pattern instructions are available on Ravelry (free membership, just need to register) and can be found as V Star Square.
I worked as per pattern instructions, the designer used Aran weight yarn and created an 8″ square but with DK yarn it easy to get a 6″ square without any alterations.
Hello there, fancy another square?
This is the square for today, the Sweet Sixteen square, a really easy pattern to follow and an effective looking square.
I worked as per pattern instructions then added 2 rounds of UK dc in the same colours to bring my square up to size.
(This is a US pattern so remember the name changes for stitches)
Hello there you, how are you doing today?
Today’s square pattern come courtesy of ‘One Crochet Day at a Time’ via Ravelry again and is called Pixie Flower.
An American pattern so different stitch names but quite easy to follow once you get your head around all the ‘front loops only’ and ‘back loops only’ and remember which side you going next. Pattern suggest one or two colours but I think two colours definitely works best, helps show off the flower better.
I worked as per pattern and then brought my square up to size with another 2 rounds of UK dc.
